Our guest, Jeff Higgins, is an entrepreneur and public speaker whose story is one of incredible resilience. Jeff faced immense personal challenges, including the loss of his alcoholic mother at age 11, and the subsequent deaths of his alcoholic brother and sister. Jeff himself battled alcoholism, experienced child abuse, and was imprisoned for homicide, encountering anxiety, depression, PTSD, and suicidal thoughts along the way.
Despite these adversities, Jeff has achieved significant successes. His company supports employees' well-being with a chaplain, a mental wellness coach, and a "Dream Manager" programme. In 2016, he summited Mount Rainier and raised $25,000 to build a school for special needs children in rural Guatemala. He gives each employee a carabiner to symbolize interconnectedness and commitment.
